Urban Sprawl

Neo-Urbanism

Policies for the reduction in Urban Sprawl such as protection of green belts and built environment with maximum development on brownfield sites should be a common policy for every city and town in India. Its time for highrise in India with a balance of protected open spaces. Also, a learning lesson from the UK planning of regeneration with the change of use of buildings would be innovative in this COVID-19 pandemic instead of new developments.
